Shropshire Rural Alliance Primary Care Network

Shropshire Rural Alliance Primary Care Network (PCN) is made up of five GP practices supporting approximately 30,000 patients in and around rural Shropshire.

We are an integrated community-based team delivering a range of additional services such as extended hours appointments, paramedic home visiting and first contact physiotherapists to name just a few. By working together, we can proactively offer more effective and efficient services that meet our patient needs.

Dog awareness

Even the most lovable dog can be a danger to healthcare workers visiting your property. Dogs are territorial by nature and if they feel they need to protect their family, they can become unpredictable. Please help us to provide your healthcare safely by keeping your dog secure and out of the way before the clinician arrives.

Monday 22nd July 2024 – Global IT outage information

Dear Patients,

Following the global IT issue on Friday 19th July, our surgery systems are now up and running but slowly, and with limited functionality. If you have an appointment booked in the next couple of days please attend as normal unless we get in touch. Please bear with our staff as we work through. If you have non-urgent calls, we would appreciate it if you could wait until later in the week, and utilise the NHS App for repeat prescriptions and 111 for general medical advice where possible.

Many thanks
Shropshire Rural Alliance PCN
